The contemporary dance company "BRIGHTON" was founded in Chelyabinsk in 2014 on the basis of the Ural State University of Physical Culture under the direction of Ksenia Sergeevna Buldakova.
It was a student company that successfully presented dance works at city and national dance festivals. Over time, a children's contemporary dance school "BRIGHTON" was established, from 2017 the company was based in Saint Petersburg. It is the recipient of a special jury prize at the International Contemporary Choreography Festival–Competition "New Lisa" in Saransk, a participant in the Open International Jazz and Contemporary Dance Festival "Jazz Sensation" in Yekaterinburg, the International "Meteorite Dance Festival" in Chelyabinsk, the festivals "The Power of Silence" and "Construction" in Saint Petersburg, and many others.
It was a student company that successfully presented dance works at city and national dance festivals. From 2023, the company was renamed the “KSENIYA BULDAKOVA DANCE THEATRE". The ensemble's repertoire included lots of dance performances. the performance "Five More Minutes – and the Future. Five More Minutes – and Eternity..." (based on Salvador Dalí's painting "The Persistence of Memory"), the performance “Invisible Thread" and the performance "The Stone Flower".
Our dance company was a winner and prize-winner of the biggest dance festivals, including abroad.
